    I've been involved in undergraduate research at Clemson University since my first semester. I started working with Dr. Vladimir Reukov in inorganic biomaterials, and we primarily focus on Cerium Oxide nanoparticles. This work over the last 2 years has led to multiple different conference presentations at BMES 2018 and 2019, SBEC 2019, SFB 2019, FOCI 2018 and 2019. Also, a conference proceeding was published at SBEC on which I am second author. I also published a first author manuscript in Materials Science and Engineering C on the characteristics and delivery mechanism of Cerium Oxide.

    Worked in the Vanderbilt Vaccine Center under Dr. James Crowe. I focused on isolating and characterizing Hantavirus antibodies. Specifically, it was antibody-dependent blocking of hantavirus attachment to receptor Protocadherin-1. A poster was presented on this work at the end of the internship at the annual research symposium, and my name is being included on the next manuscript that my graduate student writes.

    This was a 3 week trip that I applied for the summer after my freshman year. I shadowed multiple different physicians and specialties (cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, etc) in the Gennimatas Hospital (General Hospital of Athens). I shadowed approximately ~70 hours in these three weeks.
