I have been awarded several grants, including £50,000 from the UK Heritage Lottery Fund and smaller amounts from the British Academy, the Alcohol and Drugs History Society and Alcohol Research UK. I was awarded a Curran Fellowship 2019-20, with associated research grant, from the Research Society for Victorian Periodicals.
