Areas of practice are probate conservatorships of seniors, guardianships for grandparents raising grandchildren, elder abuse prevention, MediCal and SSA/SSI. LAS also partners with Health Insurance Advocacy and Counseling Program (HICAP) to assist seniors with Medicare and other insurance related issues.

I was a participant in a group of professional women, all of whom worked in the area of Probate Law. Many were attorneys, some were social workers and private fiduciaries, a few were accountants and CPA's. We met quarterly and enjoyed an educational program together. It was a wonderful opportunity to keep in touch, exchange information, and mentor women new to the practice and as yet unfamiliar with court proceedings and preparing accountings for court approval.
