    At Fluency, Anna was responsible for the management of internal operations and project management as well as development and creation of client tutorials and troubleshooting. A member of the founding team, Anna guided Fluency's growth, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations for small businesses. Anna also coordinated the day-to-day operations of the agency, including managing finances, payroll, accounts, and employee management. Anna developed and implemented employee policies including piloting the pivot from in-office to all-remote work formats during the lockdowns in 2020. Anna leveraged her Master of Library Science (UIUC 2011) and more than 15 years experience in client-facing communications toward excellence in building both internal and external communication strategies. She also served as the agency’s organizational expert, wrangling files, data, and forms into easy-to-understand systems.

    Toronto’s Kitchen Library (2013-2016) was Canada’s first non-profit lending library of kitchen tools and appliances. It was founded on the belief that income and space shouldn’t be barriers to healthy eating and home cooking. Anna worked as the Toronto Chapter Lead, focusing on volunteer management and community engagement. As chapter lead for the primary location, Anna was responsible for collection development and maintenance, including implementing an efficient and understandable online interface for managing membership and item loans. She was further responsible for recruiting and training volunteers and led community initiatives, including coordinating and developing programming through Toronto Public Libraries. Toronto Public Library programming included workshops on meal planning, building a food budget, preparing homemade baby food, and more.
