    • Developed a custom front-end SPA in Angular (EarthOne Grow) which continuously and asynchronously polls a containerized Flask server that is also connected to a MySQL database which is storing data from an agricultural IoT sensor suite. • Built a payment processing Express server, connected to Stripe via webhooks and a NoSQL database which updates user records based on their membership status for various SaaS plans.• Designed a custom e-commerce web application from the ground up and built various features for the app, such as: upsells, membership selection, custom account creation, wholesale, etc. This was done using Shopify’s liquid templating language (server-side), vanilla JavaScript & jQuery. • Connected various SaaS apps (email list, order tracking, reviews, etc) together by writing custom code utilizing their webhooks and APIs to enable communication with one another in a predictable manner (unidirectional data flow).• Both sites were designed by first creating the UI skeletons in Photoshop and XD, then translating those mock-ups with HTML & SASS as well as designing custom SVG assets in Illustrator and animations in After Effects.• This experience has given me the ability to work on complex full-stack projects with many moving parts, by breaking them down in to smaller, modular, more manageable tasks and then integrating them together as each step is completed.

    • My initial role was as a Production Application Support Analyst, but I was quickly moved to the developer role due to my initiative to learn a new programming framework and intercompany technologies in my spare time so that I could add value to the team.• Re-architected a legacy multi-page web app to a SPA for a retail banking use case, built with Angular and then connected to the company middleware and backend which required various data interchange protocols (XML & JSON) and microservices.• I managed time for the project throughout the entire internship to ensure the application was finished on time, as well as, ensured it was documented and commented properly.• This internship experience has given me the confidence and ability to collaborate within complex interdisciplinary teams that are all working towards a collective company vision.
