    Project Title : HPE Cloud system and Helion open stack – swift The aim of the project is to scale the swift to a capacity of 1.5 PB usable storage .Project was executed in part in Fort Collins USA and Bangalore, KA, India as per project requirements. Businesses need an architecture that’s more scalable and provides an easier way to manage and access data. The enterprise also still requires availability and access control, even if the performance requirements are different than those of traditional storage architecture. Object storage allows the storage of arbitrary-sized “objects” using a flat, wide namespace where each object lives in a given container and can be tagged with its own metadata. This simple architecture makes it much easier for software to support massive numbers of objects across the object store.To access the storage, a RESTful interface is used to provide better client independence and remove state tracking load on the server. HTTP is typically used as the transport mechanism to connect applications to the data, so it’s very easy to connect any device over the network to the object store.
