    During this period I helped establish ECPAT International's global program on combating sexual exploitation of children in the online environment. My key taks were:To lead the work of ECPAT International network on issues related to protection of children in the online environment. Work involved developing capacity among network members, produce research papers, working with law enforcement and other IT partner agencies in gathering intelligence and developing technical solutions and representing ECPAT International in high level policy forums to influence policy makers and lead advocacy efforts on undertaking suitable interventions for child online protection. Focal point for ECPAT International on child online protection. Also focal point of ICT related referral systems.During this period I had represented ECPAT International in key events such as the world congress on commercial sexual exploitation against children in Yokohama, and Rio de Janeiro, the world summit on information society (WSIS), the Internet governance forum (IGF), the launch of the UN global study on violence against children in New York and numerous other global meetings focusing on the issue of protection of children online. Contributed as an expert on child online protection in various publications and journals and also provided input as panelist in forums and provided assistance to governments and International agencies such as ITU. I have also led the Dynamic Coalition on child online safety at the UN led Internet governance forum for number of years.
