    In April 2019, Consult was acquired by an organisation with a mandate to invest in organsiations that are well run and make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders. We were hugely proud and excited to have been recognised for the differences made through our mahi!My role at Consult now is to lead the team through a period of growth and development as we become not only the leading recruitment agency in New Zealand, but also a thriving workplace that is humble and ambitious, curious and reflective and one that pushes the boundaries but also has a solid core (that's my code for we aren't all ego advertising and hot air with no substance - I am an accountant after al!!). During 2019/2020, we successfully added the old Gaulter Russell Numero business and the Halo Consulting Business to the Consult team and we've successfully navigated through covid and in 2021 are busier than ever before!I also recruit into the exec space - CEO, GM, COO, CFO mostly. I like to think its because of my extensive networks and recruitment experience and awards. Despite COVID, an uncertain market and the difficulties of integrating businesses, we tripled the results over the next three years following acquisition. Halo Consulting is now fully integrated into the Consult business.

    I was promoted into this role, which was to manage and develop the Contract & Temporary Recruitment team as well as continue as a full billing consultant for Accounting and Finance roles as before. During my time, we built a very strong team with a great customer service ethic and we had very low turnover of Consultants. We also won two international awards for customer service!In my last full year as a Consultant - I was the third highest biller in Australia and New Zealand, despite being in a start-up environment and competing against the aussies (who had been established for a number of years and had an established book of business and extensive support). It is a proud moment for any Kiwi to beat an Aussie!
