    During a 22 year career within the Royal Engineers my responsibilities included;Delivering driver training courses across a range of vehicles at Regimental level, successfully leading a team to increase the number of suitably qualified drivers within the Regiment, this included liaising with Brigade level appointments to initiate authorised contractsEnsured the vehicle fleet complied with both MOD & local legislationOverseeing the Regimental Recruit Training Team, monitoring the performance and arranging delivery of remedial training where required, producing feedback to students throughout their trainingWhilst working in a logistic capacity (stores) I introduced new procedures to ensure that the infrastructure was managed more successfully through pro-active planning, reducing the maintenance budget. Managed and accounted for the department’s stores with a value of over £45 millionI achieved the rank of Corporal in 1996, fulfilling a variety of roles across many geographical locations including team leader, transport supervisor, crane supervisor & operator, driving and lift truck instructor.
