Remuneration & Benefits - SkillHave worked in Compensation and Benefits for the past 19 years. Produce (annually) detailed motivations for pay adjustments for staff including detailed market analses and have input into union related annual increases in terms of mandate development. Have introduced the SAPREF Performance Incentive Scheme to the Refinery (1998), Have successfully introduced, Special Scale Progression - Closure (1999), Total Cost to Company approach to Pay (2001/3), Recognition Scheme (2006), Variable Pay (2007)for senior staff, Performance Share Scheme (2008) for senior staff.Employee Relations - SkillInvolved throughout career in discussions with the Union/Shop Stewards on various issues - Integrally involved in plant level negotiations on site during the various strikes. Integrally involved in the first upgrade to 4.6 (2002) as this related to the necessary system improvements that needed to be brought about due to the Pay paradigm change to Total Cost to Company, which was successfully done. Resourcing - SkillSpent 2 years (1999-1990) doing the recruitment specialist role for the Refinery.
