    • I underwent in-service training as part of NHD Mechanical Engineering, including training in the company apprentice program, plant operation and maintenance. • After graduating I became responsible for managing plant maintenance in the Gas Production Plant.• In my time at Scaw Metals I gained exposure to the steel making process, and to operational safety practice in a steel mill.• This included exposure to continuous rolling Mills, Electric Arc furnaces, Pattern shops and casting• I was also responsible for maintaining various hydraulic systems, material handling and conveyors.
