    I have been a videographer, editor and producer for the Qadiriyya order under the guidance of Shaykh Dr. Abdalqadir as-Sufi, the leader of the tariqa since the beginning of 2008. I have captured, edited and produced the discourses, dhikrs (group recitation circles), Moussems (annual festivals) and conferences hosted by the Qadiriyya community in Cape Town, as well as documentaries on the expansion of Islam in Southern Africa. As an example of this work, I have selected a video which has drawn a considerable amount of organic attention on Youtube titled 'Qadiriyya Dhikr'. Shaykh Dr. Abdalqadir as-Sufi requested I capture a night of dhikr (remembrance) at his Zawiyya adjacent to The Jumua Mosque of Cape Town in April of 2012, the result of which is a long form video production that presents the full format of the Qadiriyya sufic order dhikr with a clear discourse delivered by Shaykh Dr. Abdalqadir as-Sufi. This video has reached all corners of the world and continues to impact the lives of those it resonates with.
