    - Supervised 4th year civil engineering students who were required to produce structural designs based on the conceptual designs of the Coonamble indoor multipurpose arena.- Assisted with the marking of several design reports, and providing feedback and advice to the student groups.- Instructed 3rd year civil engineering students on the analysis and design of concrete and steel members. This involved demonstrating problems to the whole class as well as one-on-one consultations.

    - Led a group of four student peers to develop a design brief for an indoor multipurpose arena for the regional NSW town of Coonamble.- Conducted community consultation in order to assess, prioritise and balance the requirements of the various stakeholders. - Developed and presented multiple designs based on the identified needs of the community, government and industry stakeholders. - Produced reports which provided detailed information on the designs created as well as related issues, such as site planning and renewable energy, which were identified during the community consultation. - Acted as liaison with local media, including participation in two interviews with ABC radio.
