As the company grew it became noticeable that the management that was in place was not up to the job of a rapidly expanding company and I was requested and then voted in unanimously by the shareholders to take over the role of Company President.The role involves overseeing the direction and performance of the entire company and creating the appropriate strategy to continue growing the company and achieve the goal of doubling the number of parks we have operational during 2020.This is not a role I ever aspired to take on and a more permanent solution is being sought so I can return to my preferred field of property development/analysis.

Full project delivery responsibility for design, construction and business planning.This has been a challenging renovation and extension of a 20-year-old building located on Burgos Street, Makati. Originally the building was not built in accordance with the as built plans so we had to complete a thorough structural strengthening of the building prior to a full renovation and addition of 2 floors on top.An ever-changing brief from the owner and the lack of a consultant team (architect and engineers) has made this project a real challenge however the end result has produced a building we can all be proud of.

    I was brought on by Obelix to help them complete a dormitory project located on Kalayaan Ave in BGC, Taguig, Philippines. The structure was complete and I took over completing the interior fit out. The building was completed on time and on budget and has proven to be very popular with a very high occupancy rate.In addition to the dormitory project I also helped them with remedial work on a set of 8 townhouses they had already built in Quezon City. Upon my inspection there were over 600 remedial items which we systematically worked through with the various contractors to rectify.

    iPraxis was the largest outsourced offshore provider of para planning services to the Australian financial planning market.I worked for this company twice. This time around the managing director approached me to return to the company as the CEO and assume total responsibility for the Philippines operation. In November 2015, after making some policy and structural changes, the company achieved its highest monthly productivity since it was established.My responsibilities included personnel management, budget forecast and control, feasibility modelling, company policy development, regular reporting to clients, work flow management, reporting to the board, contract negotiation and overall regulatory compliance both in the Philippines and Australia.Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I was forced to resign this position as I was no longer able to give it the attention it deserved.

    As part of the company’s 81MW wind energy project in the Philippines there was a requirement to connect the project to the national grid via the construction of a 62KM transmission line.Having never worked on large infrastructure projects before or within the energy sector this was an interesting challenge. It required a very fast learning curve on transmission line design and construction while navigating the political nuances of the Philippines regional and local government.Overseeing a team of 20+ internal staff and multiple contractors, I had to plan the optimal route, acquire through negotiation the required land rights (over 2,000 individual lots), manage the head contractor, manage the budget and ensure the project was delivered as quickly as possible as.The transmission line was completed on time (in only 9 months of construction) allowing the project to be included in the governments feed in tariff scheme. To achieve this we effectively took over the head contract and had to assume full control of the subcontractors and the construction management.
