Directed quantitative and qualitative research and provided strategic advice for a range of clients including political campaigns, corporations, issue advocacy organizations, and foundations at one of the world’s leading public opinion and strategic consulting firms. Co-managed operations of GQR’s domestic team of eight to twelve analysts. Led GQR’s practice on energy, climate and environmental issues, including both issue advocacy and corporate clients. Helped lead the firm’s extensive work in Michigan; overseeing polling in two U.S. Senate races, three Congressional races, dozens of state legislative districts and various advocacy and corporate issues over the last few years. Conducted statistical analysis of survey data including regression modeling and factor analysis using STATA. Worked closely with GQR’s Analytics department to develop new methodologies and develop and implement analytical data solutions for clients. • Helped develop GQR’s innovative cell phone methodology and dynamic voter screen which led to Nate Silver of fivethirtyeight.com naming GQR the most accurate pollster of the 2012 election. • Provided research and strategic advice that helped Cooper University Hospital move from 5th to 1st place in the South Jersey cancer marketplace in the course of three years. • Advised now-Senator Gary Peters in his successful efforts to win upset re-election bids for Congress in 2010 and 2012, and buck national trends to win a decisive election to the U.S. Senate in 2014. • Helped Tammy Baldwin (WI) become the Senate’s first openly gay member in 2012, and helped Michael Bennet win an upset Senate victory in Colorado, becoming one of the few Democratic bright spots in 2010. • Managed the development of a database of over 160,000 interviews on climate and energy and oversaw analysis of the aggregated data by analytics team that provided previously impossible insight into public opinion on the issue.
