The purpose of the Manager IT Systems & Analytics is to manage the COEX IT Group and to develop and lead the end-to-end delivery of COEX digital strategy (through both external partners and COEX’s shared service provider) including existing systems, platforms and databases administration, systems enhancements, critical future platforms, as well as drive optimum outcomes from COEX’s shared services arrangements (for all IT related components). • Establish, resource, manage, develop and embed the COEX IT team in the Corporate Services function. • Oversee and coordinate the administration and optimisation of existing systems, applications and analytics tools and capability with a customer centric approach (COEX and contractors). • Oversee and manage end-to end COEX cyber security risk management (from prevention, identification, response, containment, mitigation to eradication and recovery), including ongoing risk assessment, identification and maturing of critical controls, reporting to leadership team and Board, and coordination of response to cyber threats, cyber events and incidents. • Mature the business insights and data analytics lifecycle in the organisation to ensure centrally managed reliable, user-friendly tools are utilised at all levels of the organisation to enable highly responsive operational decision making. • Support the establishment of a distributed Centre of Excellence (CoE) to assist in the maturing of the business insights and data analytics lifecycle. • Work collaboratively with CES (COEX shared services provider), through a matrix structure, to ensure effective, timely and to-scope delivery of IT projects. • Understand and assist the senior leadership team in balancing business needs versus technical constraints. Identify and anticipate dependencies, bottlenecks and multi-layered impacts (internal and external customers) at project design stage.

The Global Procurement Network (GPN) BI Team was a very young team and responsible for the whole reporting in the GPN network.
