I conceptualized and produced an exhibition on Governors Island titled "Escaping Time: Art from U.S. Prisons." The show ran for 3 consecutive summers and featured over 500 pieces of artwork and accompanying handwritten letters created behind bars. I developed the mission, marketing, sales strategy, and was able to hire 2 formerly incarcerated men to lead exhibition tours and sales. I exceeded my fundraising goal on a limited budget and fostered community conversation. The project was featured in The Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Artnet, Getty Images, DNAInfo, Flaunt, and Bedford & Bowery.
