As an in-house physician recruiter, I was responsible for recruiting physician specialists and surgeons for Centra's health care system and medical group.Centra Lynchburg General Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center with 358 licensed beds and is an emergency and critical care center, specializing in cardiology, emergency medicine, orthopaedics, oncology, neurology, and neurosurgery. CLGH has about 90,000 - 100,000 annual emergency room visits, making it one of the top 3 busiest in the state of VA. Centra is recognized nationally for its oncology, cardiac, and neurosciences programs and has received the Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification for AMI and CHF, and Chest Pain Accreditation by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care. Centra was also the first Mission Lifeline Accredited hospital in the state of Virginia. Centra's healthcare system encompasses four hospitals, one free-standing emergency department, regional medical centers, and more than 50 primary care/specialty practices. Other duties:Recruited physicians and surgeons for Centra's medical group and hospital system. Provided sourcing services, creative ad composition, detailed planning for onsite visits including travel, accommodations, and interview appointments.Managed relationships with potential physician candidates, currently employed physicians, Vice Presidents, Directors, Leadership, and Administrative Assistants within my organization as well as leadership and local businesses in the community to facilitate interviewing candidates, relay information for formal offers, and manage all aspects of a detailed recruitment process successfully.Attended recruitment conferences and fairs, while being an informative, professional representative of Centra's organization and services.______
