    In my time as a loan underwriter I worked within regulations set by the FCA to assess credit worthiness and ensure responsible lending criteria was met at all times, creating fair outcomes for our customers. This included using confident communication and questioning techniques during telephone conversations to investigate our customers current financial situations, while noticing potential vulnerability indicators and fraudulent activity. I also assessed credit files, worked several different types of documentation and auditing techniques, ensuring efficient pay out time frames for customers, making sure the customer experience was as smooth as possible. I used my excellent organisation skills and attention to detail to ensure my work was always completed to the highest possible standard, avoiding risk factors and meeting my personal targets every month, without fail. I was the highest performing member of our team, in all areas, for the majority of 2022. Other parts of the job included maintaining customer confidentiality at all times, helping my colleagues with queries on a regular basis, managing my own workload and using my initiative to prioritise this as such. My statistics, extremely high standard of quality, strong initiative and willingness to support my colleagues made me an asset to the team I worked within. I attended several internal training sessions, off my own accord, to develop my professional and interpersonal skills.
