    I started out working alongside a seasoned Graphic Designer to design and print signage for clients using the Adobe Suite CC as well as learning and operating the Flexi Design and Print software, which included the Production Manager and large format HP printers.I spent time learning how to produce and fabricate signage with other Sign Fabrication Technicians. Some responsibilities included plotting, cutting and weeding vinyl used for signage, walls, stickers and vehicle wraps, to name a few, using the Summa Vinyl Cutter and it’s respective program.Over time and with experience gained, I developed into the Lead Designer position where I took on more responsibilities, including but not limited to, job organization, full time printing, production and design.Time and dedication were spent on gaining knowledge about the printing and plotting materials, such as 3M, Orafol/Oracal/Orajet, and Avery, respective to the Provinces of Canada along with their lamination films. Gaining knowledge and insight about street and construction signs and knowing specific codes for signage helped to make production flow smoothly and get jobs out in a timely manner.All my training led to me being an integral part of the company when it came to training new members of the team. Whether it be another Graphic Designer/print specialist, a fabrication/Sign shop teammate, a warehouse teammate or even office employees, I was always willing to lend my hand and knowledge to others when questions arose.I participated in training sessions for Forklift Operator, Industrial Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform and Standard Fall Protection courses where and when they were provided. I gained certification for all courses mentioned.

    My job as a GSA at Petro Canada was to make sure that every customer was happy with their purchase that day. I would start in the morning by making sure the lights we're off above the gas pumps. I would either work beside another employee or by myself, cleaning the counter, serving customers, cleaning the store and re-stocking shelves/coolers on down time and upselling the great products offered in store. I would sell cigarettes, lottery, breakfast deals, gasoline and any items that was on up-sale for that week. I would also clean around the store of weeds and garbage so that it was a clean welcoming place for all customers.

    I began working at Main Street Cellar part time as a dishwasher and then started working part time as a hostess as well. Some aspects of my dish washer job were to clean the washrooms, sweep and mop floors, clean tables and bar area before the restaurant opened and make sure dishes and sink area was clean. When I started as a hostess, my job was to make sure the guests were welcomed to the restaurant and thanked for their visit. I also had to seat the guest and make sure they were comfortable before I left them.
