    InsureSafe Advisors is an Insurance brokerage. I started working there in July 2020. I focus specifically on Public Liability (PL) and Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance for clients especially those in the fitness industry. I deal with many clients and Insurance Companies daily via email and telecommunications. A few of my responsibilities include: - Administrative support to departments.- Constantly educating myself on new products that are developed as well as any new policies or regulations that are released by the Insurers that we deal with.- Taking on new PI clients which includes explaining the product to them, capturing all their details, sending documents through to insurers, going through policy schedules, sending the clients' schedules out and answering any questions they may have about their cover.- Renewing our clients' policies.- Capturing all of our commissions, making sure they balance and querying any discrepancies or concerns with the relevant Insurance Companies.- Working in customer service where I call clients to get an understanding of the service they have received from the Insurance Companies that we work with.- Engaging with clients and dealing with anything from enquiries to complaints in a professional manner.- Assisting clients with claims.- Answering phone calls and redirecting them to the relevant department.

    I worked at Pacino's which was a restaurant based in Linden. I started this job at the age of 16 and this was where I learnt about people skills, team work and hard work. I often had to work with other waiters when we had big tables. I also learnt how to deal with unhappy customers in a professional manner. I had to serve customers, memorize the menu, use the coffee machine to make hot drinks, work well under pressure (as the restaurant used to get very busy on days when we had specials on), wash dishes, help in the bakery and most importantly I had to be positive especially when dealing with customers. I left Pacino's to focus on my matric year and shortly afterwards, they closed down.
