      My role is to provide legal administration assistance to the Health Litigation team.       As an LAA in Hill Dickinson, where appropriate we are seconded to one of the Client Trusts. I have been on secondments to the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group. In this role, I managed the claims side of the Legal Services team. This involved processing around 25 pre-action disclosure requests a week, reporting Letters of Claim/Proceedings to the Trust’s insurers, NHS Resolution. I liaised with claims handlers at NHS Resolution and the Trust’s Panel Solicitors to ensure claims were being efficiently progressed. I also had a role in initiating the investigation stage of Employers’ Liability and Public Liability claims. Having experience of this role I now provide cover for other secondees and assist at the Trust when required.
