    Responsibilities I manage a 24/7 Control Room; I am in overall charge of looking after loan workers and council officers who work outside normal hours.As the senior manager I run the borough Emergency Control centre(BECC) I am have managerial responsibilities for Highways operations and a manager who looks after services such as gully cleansing, graffiti removal, toilet and pavement cleansing. (Another 23 staff and team membersAchievements I represent Environment and Culture at CDRP (Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership) various crime partnerships.I have developed new projects and Town centre CCTV projects and the use of deployable CCTV and Text SMF service for anti-social behaviour (ASB).I have run and actively taken part in numerous exercises when the BECC has been activatedHave worked hard to ensure good co-operation with internal and external agencies who can and could use CCTV evidence.Now retired!!!

Deal with all personal, welfare and performance issues.Managed an incident of reported harassment brought by an officer against one of her male colleagues. Interviewed and counselled the officer to obtain relevant information and establish what she wanted to achieve as an outcome. Interviewed the male officer to obtain his version of events. Through effective negotiation and arbitration resolved the complaint amicably and without recourse to formal discipline or the Fairness at Work process.Set and monitored personal objectives for each member of the team developed from local and Service-wide policing objectives. Through personal intervention and effective delegation ensure the health and safety and well being of persons brought through the Custody Suite. Ensure actions of self and colleagues are in accordance with PACE legislation and Service policies; facilitate access to medical and legal services.Controller in the Borough Control Room that manages a team of twelve Communications Officers, providing advice and guidance to the team on the allocation of available police resources.
