I report to the Promotions Division Manager and my responsibilities include:- Negotiating deal pricing and/or rebates on deals- Building the daily deals pipeline on a weekly/ monthly basis- Inventory Management- Maintaining existing supplier relationships and seeking new ones- Keeping up to date with industry and market trends- Planning and executing promotions in conjunction with all relevant departments. DAILY DEALSReceive Deal Sheet on a weekly basis from Deals Planner/ Manager. Share with DC’s and CMI assistants.Daily Management of Deals; stock management (160 report), monitor content (titles, images, active links, update True Cost back to deal cost).Retail- / Inbound Dept; confirm pricing and SOH with relevant departments. Follow ups required.Marketing; confirm 15 newsletter deals after SOH (stock-on-hand), pricing, links, titles and product ID’s was double checked. Buyer’s sign off.Qlikview; update sell through quantity (track sales) and percentage. Dashboard; load deals in the afternoon after newsletter was signed off. After loaded successfully, deal promotion is activated and indexed. If not successful further investigation to be done to make sure all products on deal sheet will be available to purchase next day.Admin/ Backend; Update WAS pricing according to deals sheet as well as True Cost (products that require subsidy).Zendesk; ensure all customer queries are responded to relating Daily Deals within 3 hours.PROMOTIONSReceive CSV file with confirmed quantities and sale prices.Dashboard; create Promotion (i.e. Flash Sale), insert slug and creative artwork from Marketing Dept. Create front-sections and dynamic categories for all relevant departments.Front End; once promotion is active, checks are in place to ensure pricing pulls through correctly (after cache was busted) and also that products are active with images and descriptions. Bugs or errors found in back-end or front will be escalated to Manager and authorization given to escalate to Tech Dept.Zendesk; ensure all customer queries are responded to relating Daily Deals within 3 hours.

As well as the Luggage & Travel Dept. sub categories Luggage, Business, Duffle Bags, Backpacks, Wallets & Travel Accessories. - Supporting the buyer on Daily Deals/ Promotions for customers as well as the admin involved for sourcing deals, images and prices. - Assisting the Returns Dept. for any products under warranty/guarantee. - Assisting the Customer Service Dept. with any product queries. - Approving newsletters and Daily Deals; images, prices, savings and product description. Ensuring merchandise arrives on-time. - Assisting buyer with product assortment, current trends and forecasts. - Following up with couriers and customs to ensure our imported fragrances is received in both our CPT and JHB warehouse within 20 Days of purchase order received.
