    Eclipse Mold, Inc is a Plastic Injection Molding company supplying to Magna, TI Automotive, Kongsberg, Fisher, Key Safety Systems, and Faurecia. In the challenging economical times Eclipse has streamlined their operations from three plants down to two. They have replaced the Production Manager, been through two Quality Managers, replaced the Warehouse Manager, and the Maintenance Manager. They had not maintained their Quality Management System (QMS) for almost two years. Upon my obtaining the Quality Manager position, there was a deficit of 40 open customer quality concerns and more coming daily.In the five months I closed all quality concerns with solid preventions. Monthly customer concerns were reduced by 70%. During that time I also completely rebuilt the QMS/BMS. The system is based on objectives from upper management to processes that virtually maintain themselves by incorporating how Eclipse actually does business.I managed six Inspectors, a Quality Engineer/CMM Operator, and a Quality Administrator. I manage with leadership principles and have, as always, encouraged teamwork with my staff.

    The Woodbridge Group is a manufacturer of polyurethane molded foam supplying to Lear, Magna, JCI, Faurecia, and Recaro Corporation. Responsible for management of Quality Engineer, Lab Supervisor, Customer Service Representative and Laboratory Technicians. Lead Program Management/APQP facilitator, assuring the understanding and communication of customer expectations, while creating process documentation and PPAP. Assured customer satisfaction and product quality as a customer liaison and facilitated a team for problem solving, ensuring accurate root cause and process correction.Developed APQP application through MS Access that gave us the ability to track parts from tool manufacturing to product validation and PPAP. This application integrated all department status and timing information including tooling, supplier/components and lab testing. It ensured change level tracking as well as increased the team's efficiency during new program launches. Facilitator in the development and implementation of an integrated lab work order system to ensure result tracking and reporting as well as lab optimization.Member of a corporate task team that created and implemented documentation, flow/maps and procedures for the QS-9000 to TS-16949 transition for all the Woodbridge molded foam plants in North America, which later lead to a seamless transition and ultimately zero nonconformance's in our plant's third party certification audit. Based on the newly formatted TS-16949 documentation, I was part of a team that converted all the HS&E documentation to create a total Businesses Management System (BMS).Maintained a zero non-conformance record in TS-16949 third party audits including re-certification audits.Reduced PPMs from an average of 50 to eventually zero and maintained for the past 6 years.First department in our plant to implement 5S and set the example for all other departments to follow.

Responsibility for Management of PPAP requirements, performed capability studies and maintained process control, facilitated problem solving /corrective action teams and management representative for QS-9000.Beta tester for third party software while implementing it as part of our management system. Solved multiple issues by implementing error proofing within specific processes. Implemented corrections processes maintained a zero RPPM.Upgraded the SPC software to WinSPC which integrated with our management system. This allowed for live analysis of each characteristic per part for reporting to customers and our upper management.
