    Our objectives were to investigate factors influencing openness to diversity, free-thinking, open inquiry, and intellectual curiosity in university campuses, and to look for solutions to promote the latter. Surveys were distributed across Canadian universities, and scoping reviews are now being written on these topics. My tasks involved selecting related past articles for the scoping reviews, and inputting and organizing key information collected from these selected papers on Excel. I also helped upload ENG/FRE surveys on Qualtrics (an online survey tool), and source the contact information of and get in touch with some university professors, departments/faculties & student societies. Moreover, I did some data cleaning and coding of the surveys' collected data (on Excel) and edited and translated some of the lab's papers. Finally, I participated in the conferences the lab was involved in.

    As a therapist assistant, I would arrange the materials needed for the different therapy sessions, such as preparing the questions and answers (both in French and English) asked during the diff therapies on Word, and grouping and organizing the objects/toys/equipments needed to carry out some therapies. I also had the opportunity to observe the therapies of different individuals to learn about the variety of techniques the Centre tailored and used for each patient. Moreover, I helped update and optimize their databases/guides. For instance, I built a preference Likert scale to track down the likes and dislikes of the patients on a monthly basis to improve their ABA experience.

    I completed my 1yr undergrad thesis (1 written paper + 4 presentations) there under Prof. McAdams and one of his Ph.D.students, Iza Korsmit. Our research question was to investigate how pitch register and instrument family influence what (perceived vs induced) affect is portrayed in music using a 3-dimensional model of affect. The study was conducted as an online survey on Prolific and the collected data was analyzed on SPSS.

    Our goal was to investigate the different group therapies created to improve communication, to perhaps introduce a new course/module/activity on group therapy for psychology graduate students. My duties included looking for organizations specialized in group therapies that aim to improve communication, contacting some of them, and filling excel sheets with summaries of their programs and goals. Moreover, I looked for articles about existing group therapies, detailing e.g, their procedures, duration, and efficacy on Excel

    I was in charge of preparing the cash float of each cashier and verifying the latter's account balance at the end of the day. I would also add and organize items on shelves, changing their price tags if need be, and I would help out customers. Furthermore, I would sometimes track and receive certain merchandise, ensuring the correct quality and quantity had been delivered and I would prepare the monthly cheques of some wholesalers.(I also worked there between June 2022 - Sept 2022)
