    I was invited to attend the AIBC Summit in Dubai and I couldn't be happier to attend. This environment is centered around blockchain technology, something I have a lot of interest in so this is a great chance for me to really get invested in this space. By the end of this three-day event, I had aimed to meet new people, share personal knowledge and walk away with new knowledge and am glad to say I've achieved that.

    During the summer I had the privilege to volunteer as a lifeguard at my local waterpark, Yas Waterworld. For two months I would learn the ropes of lifeguarding such as whistle calls, following schedules, and figuring out how to work the different shifts along the work cycle.

    In a rigorous 5-day Khalifa Fund boot camp with only 25 people selected from over 3000+ applicants, I, alongside 4 other youth entrepreneurs took daily lessons on business commerce. Throughout this week-long event, we went through lectures as well as exclusive meetings with successful local business owners within the UAE. By the end of the coursework, the teams we had been put in were tasked with making an environmentally sustainable business practice that would be pitched to a panel of judges and be left to an overall evaluation. My group was selected to be the winners of the competition and were awarded a 1st place certificate as well as professional overlook, guidance, and sponsored funding where we would be able to turn our business idea into a real business.
