I have been growing and working as a portrait and wedding photographer since January 2018. During that same time my husband Jerrell rediscovered his gift in videography. Together we make Eliflo Media, offering photography and videography services. As a Sony digital photographer, I focus on not just taking photos, but truly making a memory of each session. My style is vibrant and reminiscent of film. Click on the link below to see my portfolio and book a session.

As an Academic Advisor for the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences I assist students in understanding degree requirements and progressing towards graduation. I work primarily with freshmen, sophomores, and first semester transfer students in Political Science, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Sociology until they meet major declaration requirements. I also serve as an advisor and instructor in the University Studies BS program. The Bachelors of Science in University Studies is a program that utilizes the credits students have earned in other majors. It is a great option for students who are returning to school later in life, need to transition to an online program, or are unable to continue in their current program. My duties as an advisor are year round from orientation to graduation and everything in between.

Peer Mentor
-
Sep 2012 - Dec 2013
Began the academic year by working as an orientation leader with one other peer mentor for a class of about 15 freshmen. Introduced first-year students to college services. Talked with my freshmen about challenges that may come up living in the residence halls and roommate concerns, how to interact with their faculty advisors and other professors, and encouraged them to join clubs and student government. Assisted students in acclimating to the academic demands of college. Attended the freshmen writing seminar with the assigned mentee group throughout the semester. Kept office hours for students to come and receive writing assistance.
