    I served as a mechanical engineer on the Prognostics, Health Management and Control (PHMC) Project in the Intelligent Systems Division. Research focused on methods and sensing technologies to help manufacturers and other robot users identify mechanical degradations within robotic workcells before failure. In support of this effort, I designed and integrated an industrial robot systems testbed and developed a novel technique to detect mechanical degredations along kinematic chains. Daily tasks spanned robotic systems design and integration, mechanical component design, data science, and documentation.

I worked extensively with members of the Kaizen institute to solve real problems in short time periods. Areas or work included warehousing systems, process/part flow, and operator training.
