    I am privileged to lead and organise the manufacture of the F:SAE:47 M023 carbon-fibre composite aerodynamics package and have the honour of co-leading the Composites subgroup on the team, with 30 members. My role involves:- Developing and manufacturing composite parts- Teaching practical and theoretical composite skills- Planning timelines and budgets- Personal management- Sponsor Liaison- Motivating a volunteer team to execute tasks, learn, and have funThis is done with the goal of completing a composite package for the M023 and training a skilled and motivated team who will push F:SAE:47 to greater achievements.

    Composites subgroup member, helping to construct the carbon-fibre composite aerodynamic package and monocoque for the M022 F:SAE:47 car. Experience with composite manufacture using a variety of techniques, mould preparation, and part finishing.Presenter for FSAE-Australasia 2022 Design Event category, delivering a summary of the design of the Composite Structures on the F:SAE:47 M022 Car and the decisions behind them.Working over 2022/2023 summer on the aerodynamic design of the M023 F:SAE:47 car, working closely with other subgroups to ensure the design goals of the M023 are met. Iteratively improving the 2023 Aero Package, being heavily involved on the front wing and concept design of the rear wing.

    I was given the opportunity to return to C-TECH over the inter-semester break, where I was fortunate to work further on the CAD design, drawings, and production files for composite and mechanical parts.My role also involved further software implementation, improving efficiency and saving design time. I was able to use my increased CAD experience to iterate components quickly, produce new designs, update assemblies, and create engineering drawings.

    Working in manufacturing high-performance carbon-fibre composite products for the marine and aerospace industries. Designing composite parts and laminates, mechanical components, and production drawings. Working with parts from concept to production stages, I was honoured to be able to learn every day while working in a fast-paced environment. I enchnaced our manufacturing efficiency through the development of an automatic laminate cut file generation process for composite tubes. This initiative utilized my expertise in software (C, Python, VBA, CMD) and CAD, leading to an end-to-end automated workflow, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
