    I am currently the scrum master of an agile team working on Saga’s Insurance Pricing Engine. The company is working towards a centralised pricing tool for all their insurance products.My day to day duties include the running of the daily standup, facilitating the team members needs, setting up and the refinement of epics, user stories and sub-tasks using Atlassian Jira and keeping in sync with the physical board. I manage the planning process and capacity planning of each sprint. Organise and present the review and manage the retrospective. Liaise with other teams through scrum of scums standups and retros of retros. Communicate and deploy all releases. Organise deep dive sessions to enhance the knowledge of team members. Other duties include system administrator duties of Jira software and the management of migrating from server based Jira to cloud based Jira.

    Worked on a Client Valuation Reporting System designed to enhance existing legacy systems. It was a two-phased project. The initial phase was for the fixed income department and the second phase was to create a second separate system for the equity departments. Full three-tier technology together with MTS/COM+, IBM MQ Series Messaging and ADO technologies was used.

    Developed a system that provided a service Cable and Wireless for their Global Calling Card. The IT involvement in the project was to develop the user interactive software for the Call Centre and a Billing and Collections system. The user interface was a designed using three-tier technology, namely MTS, and object oriented methods with Visual Basic 6. The primary tool for the Billing System was SQL Server 6.5/7

    Worked on the Collateral Arbitrage system for their Stock Lending Traders. Developed an “All-In” calculator that allowed the traders to calculate matchbook or structured deals over dividend periods. This enabled them to adjust profits based on the underlying dividend percentage, lifetime of the deal and fees/discount charged.
