      - To detect events and anomalies in a hydraulic system, I built a pattern recognition model using a Kalman filter a feature encoder and a classifier using hierarchical clustering. The model is able to run recursively in a 1 minute interval warning operators of anomalies in very early stages, leading to improving time response from maintenance personnel and reducing downtime.- To improve performance of work rolls in a hot strip mill, I built a regression model which assess proper calculations inside tolerances, of a roll state model in charge of roll wear estimation. The model is able to log out-of-tolerance events to support the tuning process of the roll state model through an automatic procedure.- Designed and developed and advanced analytic tool for roll shops to assess work rolls performance to improve work rolls lifetime optimizing roll wear during roll campaign.- To support data extraction from relational databases, I developed and automated tool which generates ETL scripts used by Pentaho (Data Integration Tool from HITACHI). The scripts generation tool is able to extract metadata information from source database and configure the ETL scripts to map the data into the destination tables, leading to 30% reduction for the ETL process implementation.- Designed and developed a Proof-Of-Concept for a Data Store. The application follows a “data source agnostic” principle and provides data services to a variety of upper level applications such as Dashboards, AI/ML Models, Data Analytics, Rules Engines, among others, using a common interface thru the use of RESTful APIs which allows better modularization and faster deployment of upper layer applications by decoupling these applications of any task regarding with data extraction and data processing.Performed similarity analysis on roll wear measurements for historical roll campaigns to assess performance of a roll state model.
