I am directly accountable for all Learning & Development for the entire PA Brewery as well as supporting training efforts for our other breweries. This entails the alignment, design, and implementation of our training programs to be efficient, effective, and engaging to the learner, providing the right information, to the right audience at the right time. I have also developed , executed, and maintained all EHS Education & Compliance and Quality (GMP, HACCP) eLearning content across all BBC business units. As L&D Pillar Lead, I ensure the Six Standard Work Processes (SWP’s) consistent with UP Principles are used effectively to drive Brewery Compelling Business Needs. Created Step-Up cards and supporting training materials for various Packaging equipment centers and Warehouse tasks, created On-The-Job Trainer Guides to ensure Trainers are consistent in delivering training and assessing the learner’s progress, revised training checklists, verification checklists, supporting training materials, and lesson plans for various Brewing and Blending processes, as Leader Pillar Member, I ensure components of Unrivaled Performance are achieved throughout the Brewery, and lastly created a Certified Train-the-Trainer program to qualify trainers on equipment centers or processes. I lead the efforts to update the Maintenance Technician Pay for Skills program at the PA Brewery. Implemented a program that established the criteria and demonstrable technical skills at each of skill levels for all Brewery Equipment, Processes, and Systems. Created individualized Training and Development Plans and worked with local trade schools and equipment vendors to support the skill development. Executed two Apprenticeship programs. Created paths for maintenance staff to develop electrical skills and become Qualified Electrically and/or become Instrumentation technicians. I’ve utilized training grants such as Pennsylvania’s WEDnetPA program to obtain funding for workforce development.

Government Service contractors provide products and services to Government Projects through efficient and effective operations to implement and fulfill their requirements as part of the statement of work in a Government contract. One aspect is to ensure the entire project staff is sufficiently trained to perform their duties and tasks as assigned by the Government. Designed, developed and implemented various effective training programs (i.e., procedural, systems, educational) assigned by the Client and Government which are based on a set of standard operating procedures developed by the Government and System Vendors resulting in certification of the Project Staff and ensuring they have the competencies required to perform their job responsibilities and tasks. Work with the client to design, develop, and implement viable training and on-going operational solutions in order to fulfill their requirements with the Government. Properly manage the staff and budget to ensure meeting and exceeding the contractual obligations with the client.

After completing the Praxair Management Training program, was responsible for all Engineering aspects for a 24 hour / 7 day a week Industrial Gas Plant operation and the various delivery methods of products to customers. Plant produced gaseous and liquid Nitrogen, Oxygen and Argon. Worked in conjunction with Maintenance, Calibration, Production, and Delivery staffs to install, maintain, and operate equipment and ensure a safe work environment.
