· Developed algorithms related to inverse problems, signal approximation, sparse representation, and noise removal in medical imaging. Implementation in Matlab.· Created a novel non-local means method for denoising HARDI MRI signals. Results presented at SPIE Medical Imaging 2012 conference. Download available athttp://dx.doi.org/10.1117/12.911770 · Implemented and compared regularization methods for reconstructing HARDI MRI signals. Prior information included total variation and sparsity in the wavelet domain.· Modified Weickert's 2D coherence enhancing diffusion filter to perform on 3D ultrasound images and enhance the surface of an artery wall. Applied as pre-processing for segmentation of the Carotid artery.
