    As a fleet manager, my responsibilities included overseeing the entire operation of onboarding vendors. This involved a range of tasks such as identifying potential vendors, evaluating their services and capabilities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.I would begin by conducting thorough market research to identify suitable vendors for various fleet-related services such as vehicle maintenance and repair, fuel supply, tire replacement, and vehicle tracking systems. After shortlisting potential vendors, I would then initiate a request for proposal (RFP) process to gather detailed information about their services, pricing, and terms.Once the RFP responses were received, I would thoroughly evaluate each vendor based on factors such as their reputation, experience, cost-effectiveness, service quality, and adherence to safety standards. I would also conduct reference checks and site visits to further assess their capabilities and evaluate their fit with our organization's requirements.Negotiating contracts was another crucial aspect of my role as a fleet manager.
