Supervised core team of 5 maintenance engineers who oversaw maintenance operations for fleet of 15 offshore jack-up rigs and 40 land rigs; recruited new maintenance personnel. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:• Designated as subject-matter expert for maintenance division and recognised for formulating and implementing methods to achieve divisional objectives.• Created and conducted monthly programs and information sharing sessions across all NDC rigs to improve breakdown recovery-time• Identified all HSE hazards and managed associated risks to as low as reasonably practical(ALARP) levels.• Devised process improvements following review of investigation reports.• Created insurance spares policy with control measures that (1) maximised utilisation and reduced misuse of high-value spare parts; (2) saved company millions of dollars in unnecessary use of budgeted inventory; (3) allocated sufficient supply of spare parts to cover unforeseen damages during major overhauls, eliminating need for procurement process; and (4) discouraged unplanned ordering of inventory in excess of budget.• Participated in commissioning, testing and acceptance of 3 new National Oilwell Varco (NOV) rigs in Jebel Ali, Dubai (contract value: USD $114M); 4 new onshore rigs(BOMCO) in China (contract value: USD $100M); and 8 island cluster well rigs in UAE (contract value: USD $432M).
