Tasked with working on HUD contracts performing specific contractual duties. Interacted with the government contracting office, in which they requested print advertisement equipment to be purchased for the advertising contract. Different vendors had to be contacted, costs had to be reviewed, and final decisions had to be made on who would supply the equipment. Once the vendor was selected, there had to be mediation between the contracting office and the vendor. Worked with a team of people whose goal was to interact and delegate on what the government specifically needed and how much JAVIS could save them in costs and expenses through negotiation with the vendor. Analyzed the products, managed the costs, and relayed final information back to JAVIS as well as the government contracting office. Reviewed vendor invoices thoroughly so that no additional expenses were not inadvertently charged to JAVIS or the government. Reconciled vendor invoices when there were discrepancies. Attended and hosted meetings with the contracting office, the president of JAVIS, the government technical representative, the government technical monitor, and the vendor when invoices had to be corrected or updated. Advised during these meetings on project status, alternative equipment cost, and solutions to the government. This required monthly reviews because needs on sides, contractor
