    With Wayne County Government, I played a vital role as part of the appointed restructuring team to avoid any Detroit city bankruptcy fall out on County finances and services. I directed functions associated with budgeting, forecasting, subcontracting, technology and project management. We succeeded in stabilizing County and then creating and enhancing operational efficiencies. I assisted the CFO in restructuring $1.7 billion annual budget to avert bankruptcy and state treasury intervention; reduced $360 million general fund budget by 15% ($54 million) thru consolidating operations and identifying efficiencies.
