Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSD Africa) formed the Financial Sector Executive Coaching Advisory Board (FS-ECAB) to act as an advocate for executive coaching within sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). FS-ECAB was officially constituted in February 2016 when its seven advisory Board members had an initial meeting in Nairobi, Kenya. It is envisaged that the FS-ECAB has gone on to play a role in stimulating the demand for executive coaching by financial sector executives and an increased supply of accredited executive coaches in SSA.
