Getting back into the classroom to put into practice the ideas I have been espousing on Social Media - and see them work was an amazing experience. It was also a great reminder of what the daily lived experience that teachera have. It has radically informed my conception of leadership.

Assistant Principal & IB Diploma Coordinator
-
Aug 2010 - Jul 2013
In addition to my previous role I was responsible for the administration and leadership of the DP Program and Extended Essay process. In the course of this role I additionally took full responsibility for the school timetable. In the course of this role I transitioned the reporting system to ManageBac. I continued to create a data driven student progress identification system using both report data as well as CEM assessments. I had a 30% teaching load of DP Chemistry (In May 2012 every student got a 7 in their internal assessment and their grade point average was over a grade higher than World Averages) and TOK.

Assistant Principal

Aug 2009 - Jul 2010
I was hired specifically to set up a reporting process that worked with our management information system. Specifically I did not want data to be merely collected (siloed) so an analysis process was built that led to a clear student intervention process. Additionally I led the set up of a Curriculum Planning & Management tool (Atlas) that could store collaborative ideas and resources and thus improve student learningI taught DP Chemistry HL & SL and Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
