    * I was the paid Editor-in-Chief of the club's magazine All Torque. I edited all articles, all advertisements and prepared all images. Once the individual elements were complete the entire magazine was laid out page by page in Adobe FrameMaker. In total I supplied four full colour issues "ready-to-print" to the printer in England.

    * For more than 10 years I was responsible for all engineering aspects of the airline for the Bombardier Dash 8-100, -300 and Embraer 145 aircraft in the Rheintalflug fleet. I designed, wrote and maintained the company's scheduled maintenance program. My other duties were many and various, but included instructing pilots on all new navigational equipment brought into service. I completed and passed the Honeywell systems instructors course to assist me in these duties.

I spent most of my time as an Instrument Fitter working on the Lockheed P-3B/C Orion at two different locations; Adelaide and Sydney. *However, I also worked on the CT-4A fleet at Point Cook in Victoria along with many of the RAAF's fleet of vintage historical flying aircraft including the Sabre A27-983 and non-flying aircraft at the RAAF Museum.

    My first after school job. Paid around $13.00/week, which worked out at around $1.00/hour. My claim to fame was that the vacuum cleaner bag came loose in the fur department and blew off. The resulting mess ensured I wasn't popular with those in the department for a couple of weeks, but eventually they forgave me.

    I was a Cadet Bandsman in the RAAF Air Training Corps. 6 Flight ATC Band playing the tenor and bass drums...the band travelled all over South Australia for Anzac day, Remembrance Day and other parades including 1RTU Recruit graduations at RAAF Base Edinburgh.
