I chaired the official launch of the former First Minister Rhodri Morgan’s autobiography. The event had changed since first being organised following his unexpected death in May 2017. Instead of an interview with him, a packed hall celebrated his life and achievements with a panel made up of his widow, the Assembly Member Julie Morgan, close friends Kevin Brennan MP and future First Minister Mark Drakeford and an ally from across the political divide, Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas.

The “Digital futures in Health and Wellbeing; can public services survive without them?” event, which also looked at talent, technology, and culture, took place on Thursday, June 29th 2017 at the School of Management, on the University’s Bay Campus.The day’s expert panel debates, featured senior representatives from companies, organisations, and partnerships such as Airbus; Renishaw; Cisco; Proton Partners International; PwC; Deloittes; and A Regional Collaboration for Health (ARCH), and was chaired by Adrian Masters, ITV Cymru Wales’ Political Editor.
