My district is the NE corner of BC and the NW corner of Alberta with the Fort St. John and Grand Prairie offices as my support group. I am situated in Vancouver and will have ties with the Calgary and Sherwood Park offices as my headquarters. As I pursue work opportunities in these districts I will have the opportunity to work closely with the First Nations as well as the proponents involved with work in the area.

    Project: Lafarge Plant ExpansionManaged the QA survey team which assisted the client (Lafarge) with a +$600mil cement plant expansion. Provided primary control to all contractors with millimetre accuracy and routinely updated and densified the network. Confirmed methodology, measurements, and instrumentation of contractors. Additionally, initial layouts, slope staking and civil works related surveys.Personally, I was involved with this work intermittently along with Business Development. Having initiated this contract during my first stages of Business Development I also needed to help execute the performance until a qualified Project Manager could be found.
