    Having had a long lay off from the hospitality industry, Ego enabled me to find my feet again, which didn't take much time at all.     My time spent at Connects2 has enabled me to experience the whole process of manufacturing from conception to product. I’ve had the opportunity to assist within many projects over time.I'm now currently involved with taking a variety of new products from the hands of developers/suppliers and creating all the viable assets needed (imagery, videos, specifications) for launch to our consumers worldwide.I initially started in a freelance position, filming and editing videos the company could use to showcase their newest product at trade shows and online.As of 2014 I was hired into a full-time position within the newly established Marketing department.My main roles include video production for new products and projects, monitoring and creation of content for social media, as well as the maintenance and creation of website product listings.Other roles I’ve aided include product/lifestyle photography, email marketing, SEO implementation, copywriting for the website and company magazine and print based media for trade shows.

    Started as a Bar Back who essentially goes around and picks up empty pint/cocktail glasses and cleans them ready for re-use.I then progressed with training to become a full fledged cocktail bartender, serving drinks for customers and dealing with the daily trials and tribulations of customer service & satisfaction.I would also tend to help out on the floor with waiting service and progressed to deal with bar orders which dealt with fruit and drink orders.I was looking to go further into the book keeping and cash up process, but the company was bought out by Miller & Carter’s and became something against my principles, to which I left, I really enjoyed this role.
