Primary responsibilities include review, analysis, design and optimization of oil and gas fields located on shore North America from acquisition through development and ultimately, sale. Includes front end engineering analysis, cost-benefit analysis, as well as probabilistic and deterministic risk analysis. Responsibilities also include reviewing existing problems affecting production and recommending repairs as well as suggesting technologies to reduce down time and optimize field production. This requires industry knowledge, computer modelling, hand calculations, economics analysis, and coordination with vendors and contractors from a variety of disciplines.
