Alex Skatell, Co-Founder & CEO at Topline. Alex Skatell is the Co-Founder and CEO of Topline, the AI-powered growth platform built for high-trust service providers — law firms, financial advisors, medical practices, and professional services firms. Under his leadership, Topline has grown to serve 500+ businesses with a 5.0/5 rating on Capterra, helping firms generate qualified meetings and revenue through AI agents paired with human expertise. Before Topline, Alex co-founded two companies that reshaped digital media and political technology. He founded the Independent Journal Review (IJR) , a digital news platform that grew to reach over 100 million Americans monthly and partnered with ABC News to host a Republican primary debate in 2015. He also co-founded IMGE , a digital consulting agency that served major brands and political campaigns. Together, the two organizations grew to approximately 105 employees. Alex has been recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in media, named to WIRED's 20 Tech Insiders Defining the 2016 Campaign , and called a "wunderkind" of media tech by The New York Times . He is also a partner at Mission8 , a venture studio focused on building mission-first companies. A graduate of Clemson University (Class of 2008, Construction Science), Alex has served on advisory boards at Georgetown University and Clemson University. His entrepreneurial instincts started early — at age 11, he was already running his first business selling sodas at a markup near a local golf course.
