Overview

The Glass Jug Beer Lab is a retail craft beer store with a great selection of local and craft beer, featuring 20 rotating taps with an emphasis on seasonal brews, one-off special releases, and new collaborations with local breweries, in addition to all of your favorite craft beers, specialty wine, and cider. The Glass Jug Beer Lab is also Durham’s first and only counter-pressure growler filling station. We’ll fill your (clean) growler with any of our 16 draft beers using the latest technology to ensure consistent quality and extend freshness. We will sell and fill 32- and 64-ounce growlers. This fall (September, 2017), The Glass Jug Beer Lab will be expanding to also include an outdoor beer garden, a small event space that can be rented out, and an on-site brewery where we will brew one-off experimental batches of beer that can only be purchased at The Jug. The store is located just off I-40 on Hwy 55, convenient to RTP, Durham, Cary, Morrisville, and Apex. We are in the Greenwood Commons shopping center with some of our favorite local restaurants such as Papa Mojos, Sarah’s Empanadas, Thailanna, and Tandoor Indian. The shopping center is also the location of the South Durham Farmer’s Market every Saturday morning!
