Overview

In 2014, a Committee was formed when the in-house Veterans' Networks of several Financial Services firms identified a dislocation in the hiring of veterans and the raising of funds for Service charities in the City of London. Evolving from this, the City Veterans CIC (a non-profit Community Interest Company) runs fundraising dinners annually, supporting nearly a dozen different charities and raising hundreds of thousands of pounds. Working in partnership with Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS) in the United States, Military in Law Network (MILNet) and the Veterans Employment Transition Support (VETS), we exist to coordinate fund raising efforts and connect firms across the country and across different professional industries, to help them coordinate their recruiting efforts and engage at the right level with HM Forces.
