Overview
If you are a former officer of the British Armed Forces or a family member or dependant, the Officers' Association Benevolent Fund is here to provide specialist advice, welfare support and financial grants in times of need and distress. Established in 1920, the OABF is the only tri-service charity working with HM military officers. We support former officers and their families, their widows/widowers and dependants, providing advice and financial help, to those who need it most for over a hundred years. In response to the challenging times that we are all facing, we have recently launched our new 'Cost of Living Grant'. It is designed to help former officers and their families meet the rising costs of food, utility bills, rent and transport. An assessment and eligibility check helps us to identify the best help for you and your dependants, with a one-off grant of up to £500 being awarded. To find out more and how to apply, visit the OABF's website.
