Akar Umbi Development Society (ROS: PPM-001-10-18072021) is a non-governmental organisation that collaborates with the grassroots communities towards ending marginalisation and creating equal opportunities. Through people-development programmes and initiatives, Akar Umbi works closely with the grassroots to develop stronger communities. We recognise that the experts on matters related to the grassroots community are the communities themselves. We aspire to journey alongside individuals and communities to bring about positive change, find empowerment, create equal opportunities so that people can live in a meaningful and sustainable way.
